Egypt: Four Years of Transformative Collaboration

As a sound editor, my four-year collaboration with the Egyptian film industry was not just a professional opportunity for me, but a journey into the heart of culture and art. Today, I can confidently say that Egyptian cinema is undergoing an exceptional renaissance—a magnificent return to the dimensions of its golden age in the 1940s to 1960s, yet with a modern and global perspective.

This transformation has created a dynamic and diverse landscape: from popular fantasy and action productions to profound historical works. This genre diversity provided me with an exceptional opportunity to work with various film-making structures and achieve significant growth in the specialized field of sound effects editing.

Since 2022, this collaboration has opened a new path for me; I've been able to focus more specialized on sound effects editing while simultaneously becoming acquainted with the culture and art of another country. This deep cultural interaction not only enriched me professionally but also created a new perspective in my understanding of cinematic art.

Today, this international collaboration symbolizes cultural and artistic exchange for me—an opportunity that daily invites me to explore new horizons in the world of sound and keeps my passion for creating innovative works alive.

Azerbaijan: Beyond Language Barriers

Reflecting on this experience today, the challenges remain vivid in my memory: collaborating with a country and culture unfamiliar to me, and even being unable to follow the film's narrative through dialogue. Yet these very challenges provided me with the deepest insights

Azerbaijani cinema marked my first international experience. When I worked as a sound designer without understanding the Turkish language, this linguistic limitation became my greatest strength: the art of storytelling through sound, beyond speech

This journey transformed my understanding of cinema, compelling me to look beyond words. Along this path, I not only grew as an artist but also gained a profound appreciation for cinema's power as a universal language

Iranian Cinema A Journey into the Depths of Sound Narratives

Iranian cinema is a journey into the depths of the human soul. This cinema connects with its audience not through special effects, but through the power of story, emotion, and pure aesthetics. Discovering this cinema means discovering an authentic art that portrays life in its most genuine and unadulterated form.

In this space, I spent years striving to create a sound story that harmonizes with the imagery — without exaggeration or verbosity, and without drawing attention to itself, but rather serving the narrative. At the start of my journey, I wasn't entirely sure how successful I was, but to grow and deepen my understanding of professional narrative cinema, I worked as an assistant to Mohammad Reza Delpak — known as the "Poet of Sound in Iranian Cinema" — from 2017 to 2021 for about four years, learning and evolving. This path still continues, bringing me new experiences in the world of sound every day
